Harold D. Boyd, 89, born September 29, 1934 in Union County, passed away on May 23, 2024 at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon. Harold attended school at Southern Illinois University. He worked for Sangamo Electric Company in Marion, Uniroyal and American Latex Corporation in Indiana, Venetian Marble Company in Olathe, Kansas, and Nature Trail Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon. Harold served in the United States Army. In honor of his memory, donations can be made to Jefferson County Animal Control or Park Avenue Baptist Church.
