Charles Karl Waterstradt, 73, of Texico, Illinois, passed away at 3:16 pm June 16, 2024 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born April 9, 1951 in Watseka, Illinois to the late Roy and Josephine (Schultz) Waterstradt. Charles married Diana Grover and she survives.
In addition to his beloved wife, Charles is survived by his sons, Daniel Karl Waterstradt of Texico and Matthew Owen Waterstadt; grandchildren, Christian Scott Waterstradt and Jacob Karl (Angel) Waterstradt; nephews, Ryszard Adam (Alexandra) Omiotek, John Owen (Deretha) Omiotek, Peter Stanley Omiotek, and Hubert Barnett II; and great-nephew, Nik Omiotek.
Charles worked as a dental technician for many years. He enjoyed traveling and was loved by everyone who knew him. Charles was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He will be deeply missed.
Charles will be cremated and no public services will be held at this time.
