Mildred Steward, 88, of Mt. Vernon, IL, passed away with family by her side at August 4, 2024 at 12;30 P.M. at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She was born April 29, 1936 in Evarts, Kentucky to the late Powers Dixon and Lula Napier.
Mildred is survived by her 4 children, Cardell Farley, Jr. and wife Vicky, Rick Farley and wife Rita, Lula Patterson and husband Dennis and Cathy Carlile and husband Steve; several grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Henry Thomas, 3 sisters, Alice Ward, Aline Burgess and Geraldine Middleton and 3 grandchildren, Lindsey, Jason and Jimmy.
Mildred loved the Lord, loved her family especially her grandchildren and she will be dearly missed.
A Visitation will be held at Hughey Funeral Home, from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held, at
