Barbara Ann Denham, 84, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away on August 5, 2024 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Richmond Heights, Missouri. She was born October 7, 1939 in Jefferson County, Illinois to the late Clarence E. and Ruth (Chambliss) Knight. Barbara married Herbert Denham on May 1, 1956 in Jefferson County, Illinois.
In addition to her beloved husband of sixty-eight years, Barbara is survived by her sons, Dale Alan Denham and Brian Dean Denham, both of Oswego, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers, Neal and Marvin L. Knight; sister, Lavon Knight; and half brother, Noeldean Chambliss.
Mrs. Denham worked for Brehm Library in bookkeeping for thirty years.
There will be no public services held.
