Darrell E. Meyers, 81, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on August 12, 2024 at Spalding Post Acute in Griffin, Georgia.
He was born on December 11, 1942 in Wayne City, Illinois to the late Otis and Veneta (Allen) Meyers. Darrell married Dorothy Jean (Buchanan) Meyers on June 2, 1961. She preceded him in death.
Darrell is survived by his daughters, Charlotte Thigpen of Wayne City, Illinois, Darla Carson of Dallas, Georgia; grandchildren, Brandon (Kristi) Thigpen of Clayton, North Carolina, Brittany (Michael) Cottier of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Bradley Thigpen of Bismark, North Dakota, Allen (Kristen) Edgar of Douglasville, Georgia, Ashley (Corey) Hufstetler of Silver Creek, Georgia, Molly (Jacob) Boggs of Villa Rica, Georgia, James Carson of Dallas, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Blake, Logan, Caden, Kylie, Spencer, Bryson, Marcus, Iris, Abel, Zuri, and Ezekiel; and loyal and dear fiend, Mark Phillips of Griffin, Georgia.
