Paul Joseph Clark, 84, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 5:10 am August 19, 2024 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor in Mount Vernon. He was born July 20, 1940 in Du Quoin, Illinois to the late Andrew and Lucinda (Scarber) Clark. Paul married Mary (Bennett) Clark in June of 1966 and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his sister, Be Be Morgan and husband, Wayne.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his five siblings.
Mr. Clark proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as boilermaker for Chicago Bridge and Iron for many years.
There will be no services held.
