Tomy Richard Kash, 78, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away on August 19, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 2, 1946 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Steve and Betty June (Thomas) Kash. Tomy was married to Nina Newbury and later married Betty Jines. They both preceded him in death.
Tomy is survived by his son, Richard Nash and wife, Lori of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Bethany and Emaleigh Nash, both of Mount Vernon; great-grandson, Ezra Nash of Mount Vernon; brothers, Landy Kash of Tennessee and Earl Roy Minson and wife, Lena of Benton, Illinois; half brother, Jason Kash; sisters, Teresa and Monica, both of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Tomy worked in landscaping for many years. He was a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church. Tomy loved his church and was a devoted Christian. He drove the church bus, mowed, and maintained the church. Tomy will be dearly missed.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 at 1:00 pm at South Hickory Hill Cem
