Elder Julian Burns, 68, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 1:53 am August 17, 2024 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. He was born July 14, 1956 in Centralia, Illinois to the late Roosevelt and Ophelia (Bradford) Burns. Julian married Shirley (Jones) Burns on December 17, 1977 and she preceded him in death on September 20, 2022.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Sugar Camp Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois.
