Reverend James L Seals, 96, of Woodlawn, Illinois, passed away at 2:13 am August 17, 2024 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. He was born March 22, 1928 in Coahoma County, Mississippi to the late Albert and Rosie (Tillman) Seals. James married Audreye Jean (Ward) Seals in May of 1970 in Mount Vernon, Illinois and she preceded him in death on September 27, 2019.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 am with Pastor Tim Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois.
