M. Delphia "Doris" Ivy-Pry, 93, of Woodlawn, Illinois, passed away at 9:50 pm August 22, 2024 at her home. She was born November 14, 1930 in Aquilla, Missouri to the late Robert and Mary (Henson) McDowell. Doris first married David A. Ivy on July 7, 1949. He preceded her in death on September 23, 2002. She later married Vernoy "Dean" Pry on February 3, 2009. He preceded her in death in September 2022.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Sharon Coultas of Georgia; granddaughter, Sharisa Petty and husband, Shawn of New York; grandson, Jared Coultas and wife, Stacie of Woodlawn; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Doris was preceded in death by her son, Larry Ivy; and eleven siblings.
Doris was a member of Calvary Church in Mount Vernon.
