Marilyn Sue Williams, 78, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 9:26 pm January 20, 2025 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born April 9, 1946 in Sesser, Illinois to the late John Irvin and Thelma Mae (White) Winemiller.
Marilyn is survived by her sister, Catherine "Kay" Mathus and husband, Dale of Mount Vernon; sister-in-law, Mary Winemiller Payne of Maryville, Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her cherished son, Brian Keith Williams; sisters, Helen Martin, Shelvia Jean Jones, Elizabeth Bapties, and Linda Lou Winemiller; brothers, Lewis "Dude", Keith Dale, James, and Charles Alvin Winemiller; several nephews; and beloved niece, Georgie.
Marilyn was a loving mother, sister, and aunt. She thought the world of her nieces and nephews and would do anything for them. She absolutely loved babies and cared for many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. She had
