Audrey Geraldine Nobbe, 100, of Woodlawn, Illinois, passed away at 6:30 am January 22, 2025 at Mount Vernon Residential Living Center in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born March 16, 1924 in Decatur, Illinois to the late Orville and Frances (Sanford) Shupe. Audrey married Clarence F. Nobbe on April 15, 1945 in Saint James, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2000.
Audrey is survived by her children, Arletta Ruth Vestal and husband, Dana of Folsom, California, Nathan Charles Nobbe of Saint Louis, Missouri, Cherith Ann Nobbe of Folsom, California; grandchildren, Steven Clark Sabath, Marci Ann French, Kyle Alexander Nobbe and wife, Stephanie, Bethany Noelle Nobbe; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband. Audrey was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Carol Jeanne Nobbe; brother, Francis Eugene Smith; and sister, Marjorie Lorene Jones.
