Jennifer M. Johnson, 43, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 2:11 pm March 9, 2025 at her residence. She was born March 2, 1982 in Traverse City, Michigan to Dennis Ray and Connie (Boswell) Hall. Jennifer married Jeff Johnson on September 27, 2014.
In addition to her beloved husband of ten years, Jennifer is survived by her mother, Connie Hall; children, Dylan Harbison, Kasondra Harbison, Zack Harbison, Chelsea Bernard and husband, Kyle, Jacob Johnson, and Gabe Johnson; grandchildren, Paisley Harbison, Luke Bernard, Lainey Bernard, and Hazel Johnson; sister, Sandy Barnhart and husband Joe; and nieces, Kali Owens, Ariadne Barnhart, and Charesa Kohute.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Ray Hall and grandfather, Ray Hall.
Jennifer graduated from McKendree College and worked as a Title I teacher at Spring Garden Elementary School. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister and was known as "JJ" to her grandchildren. Jennifer had a kind soul and was beauti
