Marilyn Elaine Griffith, 70, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 10:30 pm March 11, 2025 at her residence. She was born July 16, 1954 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Willis R. and Wilma Maxine (Daniels) Hicks. Marilyn married Adrian E. Griffith on October 3, 2003 in Kentucky.
In addition to her beloved husband of twenty-one years, Marilyn is survived by her sons, Benjamin Ceglinski and wife, Marci and William Miller and wife, Amanda; daughter, Penelope Fuller; grandchildren, Candace Fuller, Jonathan Fuller and wife, Chelsea, Ella Ceglinski, and Audri Ceglinski; great-grandchildren, Presley Fuller, Paisley Fuller, Maverick Casper, Ozzy Riley, and Kaylee Bell; brother, Willis Hicks and wife, Connie; sisters, Rose Boswell, Hallie Hatfield, Betty Calahan, and Robin Lowery; several nieces and nephews; and several step children and step grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her five sisters and one brother.
