Brenda K. Moore, 76, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 5:58 am March 12, 2025 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born November 12, 1948 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Earl and Iris (Barva) Hayes. Brenda married Dale Moore on October 12, 1985 in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
In addition to her beloved husband of thirty-nine years, Brenda is survived by her daughters, Stacy Hayes and husband, Todd and Lisa White and husband, Jason, all of Mount Vernon, Illinois; grandchildren, Darick, Jacob, and Emily Hayes, Lucas and Dillon White, all of Mount Vernon, Illinois; brothers, Richard Hayes and wife, Barbara, Roger Hayes and wife, Carolyn, John Hayes and wife, Jenny, and Matt May and wife, Thresa; sisters, Linda McIntosh and Debbie Hefner and husband, Mark; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her second dad, Bill May.
