Barbara Carter Mayes went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 14, 2025. She was born August 15, 1935 to Frank Joseph Carter and Bernice Holland Carter.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Mayes Sr., her parents Frank Carter and Bernice Carter, her brother Robert Carter and sister Peggy Hailey.
She leaves behind three sons, Wayne Cralley (Judy), Allen Cralley (Tami),Kevin (Jean). Two stepchildren Beverly Bumpus and Ralph Mayes Jr (Sheila) Three grandchildren Gabe Cralley Kole Cralley and Elizabeth.
She also leaves a sister Bernedia Carter Perkins (John).
The family would like to thank SSM Hospice of Mt Vernon, Il and White Oak Nursing Home Mt Vernon, Il for their loving care.
A Graveside service will be held March 31, 2025 at 3:00 pm in Saulsbury, Tennessee.
