Shirley M. Lockwood, 95, of Texico, Illinois, passed away at 5:45 am March 20, 2025 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born April 10, 1929 in Streator, Illinois to the late William P. and Leona (Lowns) Jones. Shirley first married Charles J. Hoit. After his passing, she later married Robert Lockwood. He also preceded her in death.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Donna Jean Blackburn of West Melbourne, Florida; grandchildren, Stephanie Moore of Dix, Illinois and Lonna Robbins and husband, Bruce of Pennsylvania; great-grandchildren, Jay Robbins, Brooke Poninski and husband, Hayden, Blake Moore, Abigail Moore, and Maddie Moore; great-great-grandchildren, Thomas, Bryce, Matthew, Linny, Nolan, and Wrenleigh; brother, Donald Wayne Jones; and sister, Ruth Hobbs.
