Penny J. Staley, 58, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 10:25 am March 21, 2025 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born June 26, 1966 in Salem, Illinois to Nancy Someiske.
Penny is survived by her daughters, Sierra Waller and husband, Craig, Rachel Rice, Bobbie Jo Sarles and husband, Dylan, and Trisha Staley-Aldridge and husband, Dane; son, Ethan Sports; grandchildren, Dash Waller, Taylor Swan, Leland Swan, Sienna Rice, and Kaden Aldridge; sisters, Linda Martin and Sarah Pryor and husband, John; brother, Charlie Huggins; and her beloved dogs, Trigger and Missy.
Penny was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Someiske; granddaughter, Willow Swan; brother, James Huggins; and sisters, Sharon King and Debbie McKelvey. Though they are no longer with us, we find comfort knowing they are reunited, watching over us with love.
